One Good Deed Tn, Inc is so excited to be sponsoring an adoption event/animal fair on Saturday, Nov. 9th! Funtime Learning Center, LLC is hosting this event in the grassy areas and has rented a HUGE moon bounce to attract attention and give the young people a place to play after seeing the dogs! Please check out Funtime at www.FuntimeLearningCenter.com
Rescue groups
are encouraged to call Lisa at 901-340-8616 to reserve a space (only $30!) and other animal advocacy groups or organizations that sell animal services or items are also welcome! Funtime is located right off of Hwy 64, next door to Sonic, and across the street from Tractor Supply.....this is a busy, high traffic area, a great place to see and be seen! We also have a beautiful large fenced area so that potential adopters can play with the dogs at the discretion of the rescue! This event will be from 10-2!
Let's get some great dogs adopted!!

<![CDATA[New Organization, New Site... New Life For Loving Animals]]>Wed, 25 Sep 2013 01:17:33 GMThttp://www.onegooddeedtn.com/news/new-organization-new-site-new-life-for-loving-animalsOne Good Deed Tn, Inc was started in April, 2013 by the Naquin family, who had been very active with volunteer activities and animal advocay for many years. Many shelters and even humane societies claim to be "no kill," but we learned that the “no kill” provisions often had loop holes to allow for regular euthanasias. After losing a healthy, treasured foster dog to euthanasia, despite attempts by several people to adopt her and rescue groups attempts to pull her, we made the decision to start our own organization and make a difference "one good deed" at a time. We needed to do something good to honor our foster dog and decided on that day to start our own organization that would truly be for the good of the animals. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. will not put any animal to sleep for any reason other than as a last resort, on the advice of a veterinarian, for those pets whose suffering can not be cured and who by not humanely euthanizing would prolong its suffering.

We pull animals from all shelters, accept strays, work with other rescues who are too full, and provide medical services and foster care for all breeds of dogs until they are adopted into loving homes that are just right for their needs! We are also proud to assist other non-profit organizations with fostering, transport, and financial assistance for emergencies for both groups and individuals as our resources allow. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. believes that we can make a difference one good deed at a time! Join us today by supporting the cause, adopting a pup or sponsoring a pup!
